How much is shipping?
Shipping is $10 on every order. This is due to the weight of soap, but no matter how much you buy, your shipping cost won't increase!
LOCALS - you can message us for local pickup (North Stafford) PRIOR TO placing your order.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We will have the soap in the mail within two days (unless otherwise stated in soap description). USPS usually takes two-six days to deliver, so typically within a week.

What is your return policy?
All purchases are final sale. We are confident you will love our products, but if for any reason you are not satisfied, please let us know and we will make it right. This business means a lot to us, and we want our customers to be happy!
How do you make your soap?
We use the cold process method to make small batches (eight bars at a time) by hand. After mixing the raw ingredients, the soap "traces" and is poured into a mold where it heats up a bit more. After 24 hours we remove it, cut it, and store for a few more weeks to give it time to fully harden. Finally, we give it a photography session, update the website, and you stumble upon another bar you just have to try!
Is your soap all natural? Vegan?
Yes, we carry vegan/all natural/cruelty free soaps! All of our signature soaps are made with natural essential oils, plants, seeds, clay, water, and lye. We use high grade fragrance oils for certain specified bars. Each bar is labeled with exact ingredients so you know what you're using!
Is your soap made from lye, as in the old fashioned lye soap like my grandmother used to make?
Yep, you can call it "lye soap." Pretty much all real soap is still made from lye. Once the bar is finished curing, the lye will have "saponified" completely into "soap."
Why is your soap better than the soap I can buy for cheap at the grocery store?
Well, I'm glad you asked. Some of that "soap" you are buying isn't really soap. Really! Check the label! Does it say soap? Or does it say something like, "cleansing bar". The FDA actually forbids companies calling those "cleansing bars" soap because, well, they are not. They are technically "synthetic detergent products" usually petroleum-based and arguably harmful to your skin. There are tons of opinions out there as to why you should avoid these, but we think we can convince you pretty easily by trying one of our real bars of "soap" and you'll never go back.
Will your soap heal my acne or help my dry skin?
The FDA says we legally can't answer those questions because we sell soap (not a drug). We would love to tell you all about how essential oils and all of our other natural ingredients have so many amazing qualities, but again, the FDA would frown pretty heavily on statements such as those, so we won't. We can say you'll love our soap...and feel free to research on your own the benefits of our ingredients.
I don't see the soap I'm looking for. Is there a chance you might have some anyway?
We may have a few varieties curing and can always accommodate pre-orders. We release seasonal soaps as well, so be on the look out for those! We are happy to make custom orders too (wedding/party favors, bridal/baby showers).
Are any of your soaps for sale in stores?
Yes! We have a few exclusive varieties at Barley Naked Brewing Company, Potomac Point Winery and Vineyard, Warrior Coffee and Ferry Farm.
Do you offer an wholesale/bulk orders? Yes! We'd love to make you tons of soap for your special occasion! Contact us for the details.
Do you give back?
Absolutely! We give 10% back to the non-profit: Water Mission. They take a comprehensive approach to combating the world water crisis with safe water, sanitation, and hygiene solutions. They design customized solutions for each community they serve, and they partner with the recipients throughout the process. A successful project results in more time for work and education, improved health, and increased productivity for the community.
How can I learn more about how each bar helps provide clean water to communities in need?
The money we donate to Water Mission goes directly towards one of their many active community projects around the world. We encourage you to check out their website to learn more.
